CMS File Viewer Web Part¶

File Viewer is used to display Files that are in a folder.

Access¶

This Web Part is accessed by the CMS Admin Panel.

Features¶

Features for the Manage Files Web Part include:

• Files in a folder are displayed, with created and last modified dates.
• Files are filtered based on extensions.
• Files can be deleted.
• Option to upload files to the folder.
• Option to overwrite files, if they exist in the folder.
  

Procedure¶

Select files in a folder:

1. Select the folder for the files to be viewed.
   

Files are uploaded to a specific folder as follows:

1. Browse to the file to be uploaded.
2. Select the file and click Open.
3. Click 'Upload' to upload the file.
   

Open a file:

1. Click the name of the file to open it.
   

Delete a file:

1. Click delete, the 'x', to delete the file.
   

Edit Properties¶

Custom Edit properties for Upload Files include:

• Admin Role: A comma-delimited list of Roles that can use the Web Part
• Folder Names: A comma-delimited list of folders for which files are displayed.
• Folder Display Names: A comma-delimited list of display names for the folders.
• Prompt for Upload Files?: If checked, shows the prompt to upload files.
• Overwrite File?: This option is used if files can be uploaded. If checked, Overwrite the file if it already exists. Otherwise if the file exists, it will not be uploaded.
• Allowed Extensions: A comma-delimited list of extensions that are allowed
• Common COR Edit Features
